Our Adventure

We took our son there and went on an adventure that he really enjoyed.

He had to use clues found in different rooms throughout.

 A treasure chest involved figuring out the code to unlock it.

One room had a large owl as part of Whoosit’s Hollow for young kids.

Then small red and white mushrooms lined the floor.

Next, we whisked off to the train station.

We came to a train simulation where he found his next clue.

Then passed by a volcano that can erupt.

Egyptian hieroglyphics along with a tomb was our next destination for another clue.

He approached a chest of drawers and tried to determine which one to open for the clue.

A riddle had to be solved.

Edgar Allen Poe’s room

This led to the spooky Edgar Ellen Poe Room.

We even had to stop by a wizard’s shop.

Finally, the clues were solved and we were ready for our next adventure.

Final Thoughts

My son enjoyed the adventure, and we plan to return to this realm again.

Drive:  Take either Interstate 64 or Interstate 44 to Jefferson Avenue go south and look for the Adventures of Intrigue on the right before you come to Gravois Avenue.

Hours: 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 2 p.m. – 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday.

Explore a farm and then hike along a forested hill at Willoughby Heritage Farm and Conservation Reserve in Collinsville, Ill.

Under the Sea at the St. Louis Aquarium

Sealife is on full display with over 13,000 aquatic animals including 60 sharks and stingrays at the new St. Louis Aquarium.
