Take a pleasant stroll on a paved trail between the trees and around a playground at Drewel Park in Eureka, Missouri.
This is a 0.6-mile hike with only 7 feet of elevation gain in a 16-acre park.

Start of the Walk
I parked in the long parking lot at the center of the park. I walked to the right side of the lot to start the hike heading north.

The path passes by tennis and basketball courts, with a restroom accessible via a left path.

The path is lined with trees planted in memory of loved ones and veterans.

Woods Area
The trail turns left at an intersection. Going right leads to Legion Park, which features a playground, baseball fields, and a boxcar.

Large trees encroach along the path. Flat Creek is through thick vegetation to the right of the trail.

Field Area
Then, the path emerges from the woods and goes by a baseball field.

The trail curves left and runs alongside the parking lot. Further into the park, I notice a playground featuring a boardwalk, slides, and swings.
Then, I was back near where I parked.

Final Thoughts
You can complete this walk in loops for more steps or take the connector to Legion Park, which connects to other trails and parks. This trail is stroller-friendly and suitable for families since it leads to additional playgrounds.
